Holes Used in PCB: Buried Hole/Via

Buried Via is located inside the PCB and is not connected to the surface of the PCB. They are typically used as power sources or ground wires to provide better electrical performance and anti-interference capabilities.

Burial holes can reduce the thickness, weight, and size of PCB boards, and optimize signal transmission paths in high-density designs. Mechanical holes are generally used for buried holes, but in Any Layer Interconnect PCB, laser holes are also used.
